Stones and Their Meanings…                                             

Agate – agates are grounding stones, bringing about an emotional, physical, and intellectual balance. They aid in centering and stabilizing physical energy.

          Blue Lace Agate – healing stone, soft energy, cool and calming, bringing peace of mind. Powerful throat healer- counteracts blocked self-expression, releases shoulder and neck problems, thyroid deficiencies, and throat and lymph infections.

          Tree Agate – the stone of plentitude, brings abundance and fullness to all areas of life, including business and agriculture. Strong connection with the plant kingdom and can enhance communication with that realm. Encourages you to remain centered and maintain stability.

          Fire Agate – deep connection to the earth, its energy is calming which brings security and safety. Strong protective properties especially against ill-wishing, it builds a shield around the body, it returns harm back to the source. Aids in sexual endeavors, fires up the base chakra and stimulates vitality on all levels.

          Moss Agate – stabilizing stone strongly connected with nature, said to refresh the soul and enable you to see the beauty in all you behold.  Reduces sensitivity to weather and to environmental pollutants.  A birthing crystal – assists Midwives in their work, lessening pain and ensuring a good delivery. A stone of wealth – attracts abundance. Speeds up recovery. 

Amazonite – Love, Balance, Soothing.  Eliminates aggravation and soothes emotional process.  Enhances love. Nerves.

Amber – Healing, Strength, Protection.  Teaches us to reach the right decisions and handling all of life’s situations skillfully.

Amethyst – Spirituality, Contentment, Meditation.  Balances our intellectual-emotional-physical bodies.  Stability, strength and peace.

Andalusite (Chiastolite) – Protective stone, wards off ill wishes and curses, transmutes dissension into harmony.  Gateway into mysteries and journeys out of the body, aids in exploration of immortality. Helpful to those making the transition from death to rebirth. Calming, helps to face fears, helps with problem-solving.  Heals rheumatism and gout, balances immune system and repairs chromosome damage.

Aquamarine – Courage, Protection, Awareness. Tunes spiritual awareness and thought moderation.  Protects against pollution.

Aventurine – Abundance, Healing.  Used to defend against a variety of illnesses including depression and grief, headache and high blood pressure.  Money-attracting stone.

Azurite – Creativity, Meditation, Release.  Eliminates indecision and worry.  Helps enter state of mind for meditation.

Bloodstone – Courage, Balance, Healing.  Revitalizes relationships. Centers and grounds heart energy. Blood circulation.

Calcite – Amplifier, Refraction, Healing.  Different colors of Calcite place on Chakra amplifies energy.  Healing bones.

Carnelian – Protection, Strength, Stabilizing.  Clears negative energy and sorrows.  Protects against fear and rage. Energy stabilizing.
